Notes for Ghislain VIGNÉ
The birthplace of Ghislain is presumed to be Valenciennes only due to a missionary’s journal from the time of his son, Jan, in which was stated that Jan’s parents were from Valenciennes. No records to confirm this. The first records found for this couple were them being received at the Walloon Church in Leiden by confession in 1618.1134

Arrived in New Netherland in 1624.
