Frieda A. Meyer, 81, Jasper
Frieda A. Meyer, 81 2610 Howard Drive, Jasper, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 1988, in Memorial Hospital.

She was born near Stendal Jan. 28, 1907, to Henry and Eleanora (Newuman) Werremeyer. She married Lorenz H. Meyer Oct. 8, 1925.

Surviving are her husband, Lorenz; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Cozette) Sheetz and Mrs. Janice Lee of Jasper, Mrs. John (Wanda) Meyers of Danville, Ky., Mrs. Don (Nancy) Mattingly of Evansville; two brothers, Roy Werremeyer of Holland and Clarence Werremeyer of Sidney, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Oskins of Clarksville; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Weyer [sic] was preceded in death by a brother, Ollie Werremeyer.

She was a member of Trinity Women’s Guild.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Trinity United Church of Christ, Jasper. The Rev. Dr. James Mennerick will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call today at the Becher-Kluesner North Side Chapel in Jasper.
