Roy Stork, 67, Of Huntingburg Taken By Death
Roy Stork, 67, of 521 Third St., Huntingburg, died at 3:23 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital in Jasper of cancer. He was a retired employe of dMI’s Timely furniture plant at Huntingburg.
Mr. Stork was born at Stendal on March 20, 1907, the son of William and Kate (Meyerholtz) Stork.
Surviving are the wife, the former Hilda Kaiser; three sons, Clinton of Effingham, Ill., Revis of Jasper and Larry of New Albany; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Jaske of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Mrs. Bronice Uebelhor of Huntingburg; a brother, Nelson, of Woodstock, Ill.; and 17 grandchildren.
Friends may call after 6 p,m. today at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg where the service will be held at 10 am.m Thursday with the Rev. Kenneth Scherry officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
