Mildred Callis Stork
Mildred Callis Stork, 86, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, in Fort Smith. Mildred was the third child in a family of 14 children. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Aldersgate Sunday school class, the Pacesetters and the United Methodist Women. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Credit Bureau of Fort Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy and her husband, Jim Niggemyer of Tulsa, Janet and her husband, John Mailer of Fort Smith; one son, Steve and his wife, Paula Stork of Gassville; four sisters, Clara Robbins and Mary Heidorn, both of Evansville, Ind., Ruth Keethers of Tennyson, Ind., and Naomi Splittorff of Elberfeld, Ind.; five brothers, George Callis of Chandler, Ind., Earl Callis of Arizona, Alfred Callis of Martinsville, Ind., Arvil Callis of Boonville, Ind., and Arthur Callis of Boonville, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Amy Howard of Tulsa, Jill and her husband, Justin Biddle of Fort Smith, David and Chris Stork of Fayetteville, John Mailer III of Fort Smith, Scott and wife, Vanessa Lambert of Russellville and Ashleigh Lambert of Gassville; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Stork in 1992; her parents, Roye and Rebecca Callis; two brothers, Roye Callis Jr. and James Callis; and two sisters, Ann Stanley and Margaret Kolle.
Funeral service will be Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Roebuck Chapel of the First United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Mildred Callis Stork, 86, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Aldersgate Sunday school class, the Pacesetters and United Methodist Women, a retired bookkeeper for the Credit Bureau of Fort Smith and the widow of Louis Stork.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. today in Roebuck Chapel of First United Methodist Church with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
