Notes for Jan AUKE
Jan emigrated with his father in 1651 and was also a carpenter by trade. In 1678 in partnership with Rutgert Albertse, built by contract a parsonage in Flatbush, at which place he took the oath of allegiance in 1687. In 1691 he bought land in Jamaica, NY where he resided in 1699 and 1710.
