STURGIS, Ky. -- Mattie L. Farthing, 75, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville of a heart attack.
Surviving are four sisters, Mary L. Carrier of Sturgis, Lorene Newcom of Henderson, Dorothy Russelburg of Morganfield and Aminelle Bailey of Kenton, Ohio; and three brothers, Doris and Bobby Griffin, both of Henderson, and Illof of Mayfield.
Her husband, Pascal, died in 1978.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home, with burial in Pythian Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
