STURGIS, Ky. -- Mary A. Ladd, 69, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at St. Mary's Health Care Services/Welborn Campus from a stoke.

She was a member of the Sturgis Methodist Church and ladies auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, James E.; two daughters, Carolyn Ann Thurston and Nancy Hunt, both of Sturgis; a sister, Lou Johnson of Louisville; three brothers, George Brown Jr. of Clay, Ray Brown of Cincinnati and James Brown of Swanton, Ohio; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Whitsell Funeral Home, with burial in Pythian Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
