Alfred B. Norris Dies; Retired Rail Brakeman
Wallingford - Alfred Booth Norris, 88, husband of the late Vesta E. Moore Norris of 7 Pent Highway, Wallingford died at Parkview Medical Recovery Center Saturday Sept. 15, 1973.
He was born in Paterson, N.J. February 10, 1895, the son the late Nelson and Mary Ann Grieg [sic] Norris. He retired as a yard brakeman for the New Haven Railroad in 1959.
He is survived by a brother Leonard Norris of South Stroudsburg, Pa., and by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at Beecher and Bennett, 100 Broadway, Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
