Richard E. Norris
April 15, 1996, The Morning CallRichard E. "Pinky" Norris, 67, of East Stroudsburg died Sunday in his home. He was the husband of Esther (Silfee) Norris.
He was a quality control inspector for Instrument Specialities, Delaware Water Gap, for six years. Before that he was a foreman at the former Trumatic Machine and Tool Co., East Stroudsburg, for five years, and a quality control inspector at the former Ronson Corp., Delaware Water Gap, for 27 years.
Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Leonard R. and Kathryn (Walters) Norris.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Wife; daughter, Patricia A. Smith of Stroudsburg; sons, Kenneth E., Richard R. and Jack E., all of Shawnee on Delaware, and John E. of East Stroudsburg; sister, Dorothy Beers of Easton; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg. Call 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.
