A service for Arthur W. Swain, 83, of Lincoln Park will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main St., Lincoln Park.
Mr. Swain died Wednesday in Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains.
He was the mountain manager at Craigmuir Ski Area in Newfoundland for 16 years before retiring in 1980. Earlier, he was self-employed in the construction field and also worked at Wrights Aeronautical in Paterson.
An Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Swain was a member and former lieutenant of the Oakland First Aid Squad.
Born in Passaic, he lived in Paterson, Clifton and Oakland before moving to Lincoln Park 23 years ago.
Surviving are daughters, Janice Swain, Janet Knaus, Marcia Swain, Arlette Keri, Noreen Loranger and Daria Montferrante; sons, Arthur Jr. and Jonathan; sisters, Florence and Ann Swain; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
