Mrs. Sarah Crawford of Wilson SuccumbsWas a Lifelong Resident of Village – Funeral Services Will Be Held Today
WILSON, August 31 – Mrs. Sarah Rosetta Crawford, 80, died at her home in this village on Tuesday morning after an illness of two days duration. She was born in Wilson and had spent her entire life time here where she had lived a most useful life and had hosts of friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Julius A. Weaver of Wilson; two sons, Charles H. Crawford and Lou R. Crawford, both of Wilson; three granddaughters and one sister, Mrs. Delia Drinkwater of Chicago. Funeral services will be held at the home on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o’clock daylight saving time, the Rev. Fay H. Chapman, officiating. The burial will be at Greenwood cemetery.

Life Long Resident Laid to Rest in Greenwood Cemetery
WILSON, Sept. 1 – The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Crawford, a life long resident of Wilson, who died Tuesday, was held this afternoon from her home on Seminary street. Rev. Fay Chapman, pastor of the local M.E. Church, officiated. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery here.
