Peter arrived at Philadelphia on the ship Patience on September 19, 1749. He settled in Upper Milford township of Northampton County (later Lehigh). He is on tax lists in 1761, 1762, 1764. By 1780 it seems Peter has moved to Salisbury, where his brother Michael had gone. He is listed on tax lists in Salisbury in 1780, 1782, 1784, and 1793.
