Notes for Willis Wright FINK
Willis W. Fink, second son of Absalom and Mary Anna Chapman Fink, was born May 28, 1841 in Trumbull County, Ohio.
On August 1, 1861 he joined the Civil War at Ottokee, Ohio. He served in the Co. D 44th Ill. Vol. Inf. until September 25, 1865 as a drummer.

He was 5 foot 8 inches, dark complexion, gray eyes, and brown hair.

He married Mary Elizabeth Boyles on September 2, 1866 at Wauseon, Ohio. To this union were born 4 sons, Justus C., Edward Erwin, Louis L., and Frank Francis.

In 1868 the family moved to St. Louis, Michigan where Mr. Fink was a farmer and a carpenter.

His wife Mary passed away in Ewell, Michigan August 15, 1877.

His son Louis L. drowned in a rain barrel July 27, 1879 at Ewell, Michigan.

On July 14, 1878 he married Agnes Pearson. They the were parents of two children, Etta Mai and Roy Marion. Etta Mae passed away at the age of 11 months.

In 1882 the family moved to Barton County, Missouri where he ran a hardware store in Milford, Missouri.

In 1907 Willis and his wife moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Fink passed away October 23, 1909 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

He passed away November 1, 1926. Burial was November 2, 1926 at the Green Hill Cemetery, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
