AN OLD RESIDENT OF HARVEY COUNTY DIES
Mrs. Jonathan Weaver Passes Away at the Age of 79 Years

Mrs. Jonathan Weaver, an old resident of Harvey county, died at her home in Highland township six miles northeast of Newton Sunday evening at 7:30 o'clock, at the age of 79 years. She had not been in robust health for a year and her severe illness had been of two weeks duration.
Mrs. Weaver came to Newton with her husband twenty-six years age from Bremen, Ind., and had continued to reside here until her death. She is survived by a husband and one daughter, Mrs. E. C. Merrill, whose home is on the farm in Highland township.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Trinity church six miles north on Newton. The services will be conducted by the Rev. J. W. F Helmkamp and interment will be in Trinity church cemetery.
