Orville "Bud" Neal Young
Orville "Bud" Neal Young, age 71, of Ridgecrest, CA, passed away Monday, April 4, 2005 at Ridgecrest Healthcare in California. He had been a resident of Ridgecrest for 4 years. Mr. Young was born November 13, 1933 in Phoenix, AZ. He was a retired sheet metal worker and a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Bud loved gardening, fishing and bird hunting. He was a great kidder who truly enjoyed life. He will be missed by all. He had lived in Reno, NV for 30 years before moving to Ridgecrest. He and his wife owned Bobbi's Freight Outlet for 17 years in Reno, closing in 1991. He worked in casino security for 7 years in Reno. Bud is survived by his wife, Barbara C. (Bobbi) Young of Ridgecrest, CA; 2 sons, Steven Young of Reno and Leonard Long of Tacoma, WA; daughter Karen Dengey of Reno; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Arrangements and private cremation are being handled by Holland & Lyons Mortuary in Ridgecrest, CA.
