Sturgis, Ky.,– Funeral services for Grover L. Shofner, 39, who was found dead early Sunday on highway 141 near Sullivan, were held at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning at the residence near Sullivan, Rev. Ader Gibson officiating. Burial was in Bordley cemetery near Morganfield.
Shofner was the victim of a hit-and-run driver, according to the verdict rendered by a coroner’s jury.
