David McAmis

Requiem High Mass for David B. McAmis, 65, retired locomotive engineer of the L. & N. R.R., will be sung at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann Church, Covington. Prayers will be said at 9 a.m. at the Middendorf funeral home, 917 Main street, Covington, where friends may call from 2 to 10 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

Mr. McAmis, who had been under medical treatment, was pronounced dead on arrival of the Covington Life Squad Wednesday night at Booth Hospital. An employe of the railroad for 43 years, he was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen. His home was at 8 Swain court, Covington.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Lillian Weber McAmis; a son, David B. (Bud) McAmis, Covington; a daughter, Mrs. JoAnn Raffa, New Jersey; two step-sons, Leroy Weber, South Ft. Mitchell, and Kenneth Weber, Ludlow; a brother, Charles McAmis, Covington and nine grandchildren.
