The Evansville Courier, Wednesday, 29 October 1913

Last evening at 8:30 o’clock at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Will Bryant 1428 West Franklin street, Mr. Grover C. Hogan and Miss Ada J. Sacks were united in marriage in the presence of thirty-five guests. After the ceremony an excellent wedding supper was served. The colors were red and white. The bride and groom stood under a large bell accompanied by Mr. Ezra Russels as best man Miss Hattie Diegs as bridesmaid. Rev. E.G.S. Burette of Twelfth avenue Baptist church performed the ceremony. Dancing was enjoyed until a late hour.

Among those present were the Misses Wurtz, Clara Wambach, Charlotte Wise, Dora Walter, Mabel Seebode, Carrie Siedesstoff, Hattie Dieg, Hazel Seebode, Antonetta Dies, Frieda Steward, Esther Seusmieier, Lillian Huch, Irene Brochmole, Mrs. E. Hogan, Messrs. Herds A. Young, Spero Metcalfe, J.W. Hogan, Arthur Way, Chas. Ball, B.C. Sachs, Elvin Rise, Orval West, Guy Goad, L.H. Metcalfe, Joseph Hufnagle, C. Stanbush, Joseph A. Moll.

The young couple will live at 1409 East Iowa street. Mr. Hogan is a contractor.

The bride wore a gown of white satin with bridal veil.
