Died
In Winchester, N.H. on the 5th inst, Mrs. Thankful Hawkins, wife of Daniel Hawkins, Esq. aged 81. They had lived together 60 years, had 10 children (all of whom had been maried [sic] and had childen) — 77 grand-children and 44 great-grand-children. This is the first death that has occurred in this dwelling since they were married. She was a prudent, industrious and virtuous wife; tender and affectionate mother and kind neighbor. She died in the full belief of the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord.
