Afternoon Rite Held for Couple
Former Miss Lois E. Zurfluh and S/Sgt. Don C. Prusso were united in marriage Easter Sunday with the Rev. Robert C. Caswell performing the impressive rite at 3 p.m. in the Reno Unity Center.

The bride was attired in a ballerina length frock of delicate yellow tulle over white satin and carried an old-fashioned bouquet of gardenias and white roses tied with long satin streamers.

Mrs. William Woerner of Montrose, Calif., was her sister’s matron of honor and wore a ballerina length frock of aqua tulle over white satin and carried a bouquet of yellow roses.

Ray Prusso of San Lorenzo, Calif. was his brother’s best man.

Mrs. Zurfluh chose for her daughter’s wedding a frock of rose taffeta, while Mrs. Prusso, mother of the bridegroom wore a frock of black and white taffeta. Both complemented their ensembles with gardenia corsages.

The home of the bride’s parents on Lone Tree Lane was the locale for the reception and here the wedding cake, cut in traditional manner by the bridal couple, was served with punch and sandwiches. Mrs. Don Raker was in charge of the guest book.

When the couple left for Las Vegas and Southern California on a honeymoon, the bride was wearing a navy blue linen suit with blue and white accessories and red rose corsage.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forest Zurfluh, pioneer Reno residents, and her bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Prusso of San Leandro, Calif.

The newlyweds will establish their home at 15943 Windsor Drive in San Leandro.
