Service Wednesday
Funeral services for William B. Reed will be Wednesday, 1 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel, with burial in Memorial Gardens. The Reverends Dr. Dean Talagan, Larry Hutt and Les Miller will conduct the service.
Pallbearers will be Glen Bachman Jerry Watson, Ron Bacon, Paul McMillen, Jim Godfrey and Milt Binger.
Reed, of Rt. 3, Box 476, died Sunday at his home. He was born in Cheyenne on June 11, 1931, and was a teacher at Central High School for 19 years. He had graduated from Cheyenne High School with the class of 1949.
Reed is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; sons, Thomas and Timothy; brothers, Robert W, of Fort Collins, and Joseph of Sunny Vale, Calif; his mother Florence B., of Cheyenne and his sister, Ellen Tongue of Salem, Calif.
He graduated from Colorado State College with a M.A. and also a Masters. He also attended the University of Wyoming and received 30 hours in Vocational Education.
He was the student council advisor at Central for 13 years. He was also the director of Trail Lake Leadership Camp for a period of 10 years. He received the Golden Pass Award from the Wyoming High School Activities Assoc. in recognition of contributions to the young people of Wyoming.
Friends who prefer may contribute to the Cheyenne Student Council Outstanding Student Scholarship Fund, in care of Rovilla Sinner at Central High.
