Obituary notes for George HOYLES
Mahoning Dispatch, Fri, 2 Oct 1914

Patmos - On Sunday morning George Hoyle passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A.C. Howard, where he has been cared for several years. He was aged 87 years. He leaves one daughter, with whom he lived, and one son, Warren, of Salem. Funeral services were held at the home at 1:30 Tuesday. The remains were to taken to Ellsworth for interment.

Neighborhood News - George Hoyle, for many years a resident of Berlin Township, died last Sunday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. Howard, Northwest of Patmos, aged 88. He had been in poor health for a long time. Besides his daughter, he leaves one son, Warren Hoyle, of Salem. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Howard home and the remains were taken to the Ellsworth Cemetery for interment.
