PIC? Blanche H. Huff, 96, of Waukesha, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at Waukesha Springs. She was born Oct. 20, 1908, in Superior, to Earl and Pearl (nee Gibson) Prothero. On Aug. 1, 1936, she married Harold H. Huff in Waukesha. She has been a member of First United Methodist Church since 1940, where she was active in the Norma Craven Circle.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Bruce of Aurora, Colo., and Janet Huff of Riverside, Calif. She was the dear grandmother of Christopher (Vickie) Bruce, Carrie Bruce and Pamela Bruce, all of Aurora, Patricia Russell of Traverse City, Mich., and Gary (Kelli) Bruce of Aurora. She is further survived by eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Leah (the late Norman) Marquardt of Canon City, Colo., Betty (the late Fred) Miller of Roswell, N.M., and Shirley (the late Emmert) Ludeman of Bend, Ore.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Prothero of Wauwatosa; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, on Nov. 28, 1984; brothers, Claude and Ray; and sister-in-law, Aleene Prothero.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. until the 8 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Feb. 10, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Graveside services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at Prairie Home Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery office.
