Gaesser-Whitney
Bergen, Feb. 8. - Miss Marjorie Whitney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Whitney, of Rochester and Leo Gaesser, also of Rochester, were married at St. Monica’s Church in Rochester at 9 o’clock Saturday morning.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white satin, en train, with a tulle veil and carried a shower bouquet of roses. Mis Lucille Gaesser, a sister of the groom, was the brides maid and J.E. Rice was the best man.
A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents. A reception was held later in the day. After a short trip they will reside in Rochester.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin J. Volkmar and their grandchildren, Misses Rita and Lucille and Milton Volkmar, attended the wedding.
