Weddings

Hoppe-Burke
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Burke of 272 Market street, announce the marriage of their daughter, Dorothy, to Martin Hoppe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hoppe of Williamsville, November 18, at 9 o’clock at St. Peter and Paul church of Williamsville. The Rev. George Zimpfer performed the ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a royal blue moire taffeta gown with matching accessories and carried a bouquet of white pompon chrysanthemums.

She was attended by Miss Alma Ball of Buffalo who wore brown moire taffeta with matching accessories. Her bouquet was of yellow and rust chrysanthemums. The groom was attended by his brother, Leo Hoppe, of Buffalo.

Mrs. Burke wore Burgundy chiffon velvet, and Mrs. Hoppe, the groom’s mother, wore black crepe.

A reception followed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hoppe, a wedding breakfast being served for 25. Table decorations were in white.
