Mary Lou Tonnemacher Evansville, IN Mary Lou (Pirnat) Tonnemacher , 94, of Evansville, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born July 17, 1921 in Evansville, IN to the late Florence (Kingsbury) and Bruno Pirnat. She graduated from the Academy of the Immaculate Conception, Ferdinand, IN 1939, and retired from Smith and Butterfield after 20 years as Office Manager. She and her late husband Charles were former owners of the Rosedale Restaurant. Mary Lou was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church since 1951. She was Secretary of the first Parish Council at Holy Rosary, President of the Senior's Club, Treasurer of PTA, Member of the Bereavement Committee and worked all summer socials. In December of 2013 she moved to an independent living retirement community home in Milford, OH to be near her daughter Susan. Mary Lou is survived by son, Gary Tonnemacher (Susan) daughter, Susan Abla (Nick), son, John Tonnemacher , grandchildren; Nichole Abla and Nathaniel Tonnemacher . In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Tonnemacher (1964), grandson Matthew Tonnemacher , daughter-in-law Donna Tonnemacher , and her sister, Anne Pirnat. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715, with Father Bernie Etienne officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Evansville. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715.
