Emlyn Weeke was born in Gittisham, Devon, England about 1551, she was the daughter of Roger Weeke. On November 26, 1569, she married John Mitchell or Mychel in St. Andrew's at Colyton, Devon. John and Emlyn had nine children baptised at St. Andrew's. Emlyn died in Colyton in August of 1628, and was buried in the churchyard of St. Andrew's Church there on the 30th of August.9389
