Notes for Elizabeth DE GRAY
Many of the DeGraw family who moved to New Jersey changed their name to De Gray and claimed French heritage. This was one of the things that caused problems trying to find this family.
Elizabeth's grandfather, Daniel Geroe, in his will dated 24 Aug 1820 bequeathed to her, 6 acres beginning corner of William Courter and Daniel Gero, Junior, joining the lands of Peter W. Winter.
