Notes for Hendrick Hendrickse KIP Jr.
Hendrick Jr. came to this country with family and grew to manhood in their homestead on Bridge Street overlooking the East River. He was admitted to the rights of a great burgher in 1657 the same as his father and then moved to New Amstel on the Delaware. It is thought he was engaged in the profession of a brewer in 1659.
