Rev. August Stork

The Rev. August D. Stork, 93, of Evansville, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Deaconess Hospital.

Rev. Stork attended Centenary United Methodist Church. He was the former pastor of United Methodist churches in the South and North Conferences in Indiana.

Rev. Stork is survived by his wife of 68 years, the former Irma Brown; two sons, Wayne L. Stork of Belton, Texas, and Glendal R. Stork of Evansville; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, Dr. Bill Caple officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church.
