St. Jos. Hospital Engineer Dies At Age of 61
Paul Egbert, 61, the engineer at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Huntingburg, died in the hospital at 3:45 a.m. today. He recently underwent an operation in Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville and was later transferred to the hospital in Huntingburg.
Mr. Egbert was born at Stendal on April 1, 1908, the son of Chris and Carrie Stork Egbert.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ.
On June 29, 1952, he was married in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal to Delia Katter, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David Albee of Des Moines Iowa; two brothers, Victor of Lincoln, Ill., and Rondal of Dothan, Ala.; and one grandchild.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Nass and Son Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Robert Maisch. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
