EDGAR JOHN HAAREN ‘11
ED HAAREN died at his home in Asbury Park, N.J. on April 13, of a heart attack. He had suffered several such attacks during the past four or five years and been several times hospitalized. Although he left us at the end of freshman year, Ed always kept his association with the Class and until his health became impaired in recent years often attended reunions and class gatherings. He spent most of his business life with various manufacturing companies and for about ten years had been a manufacturer’s representative in wholesale hardware.
He married Elizabeth H. Fordyce and they had two children, a son and a daughter. The latter was an invalid who died in childhood. Mrs. Haaren died in 1957. His son, Craig F. Haaren, a sister and three grandchildren survive. To all of them we extend our very sincere sympathy.
