Frank C. Beumer
Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 15 at Ballard Country Church of Frank C. Beumer, 89, Buellton, who died Jan. 10 in Santa Maria.
Rev. Jeffrey Bridgeman of Santa Ynez Valley Presbyterian Church officiated.
Private interment followed.
Beumer was born Jan. 16, 1902 in Bushton, Kan., and came to the area in 1982 to retire.
He had owned his own electrical repair and retail store in Santa Barbara and had worked as an electrical mechanic for 60 years in Santa Barbara. He also taught electrical mechanics during World War II.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners and Scottish Rite Body.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel of Buellton and five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Santa Ynez Valley Hospice or the Marian Extended Care Center, Santa Maria.
