Obituary: CLARE MURPHY HINDLE of Paterson died Monday. Before retiring, she was a teacher in several Paterson elementary schools and Eastside High School, Paterson. She was a former parishioner of St. Theresa R.C. Church, Paterson, and was a member of the Alumni Association of the College of St. Elizabeth.
Surviving is her husband, John. Mass will be said Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, with burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting is Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Scillieri Funeral Home, Paterson. Donations to the College of St. Elizabeth or the Friends of the Paterson Library Fund would be appreciated.

OBITUARIES
CLARE (MURPHY) HINDLE, of Paterson died Monday.
Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Hindle was a teacher at Paterson Public School 7 and 8 and Central High School. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Grammar School, St. John's High School and the College of St. Elizabeth, Convent Station. She received her masters degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. Mrs. Hindle was a member of the alumni association of the College of St. Elizabeth. She was a former parishioner of St. Theresa R.C. Church, Paterson.
Survivors include her husband, John H.; and nieces and nephews.
Services are 9:30 a.m. today at Scillieri Funeral Home, 351 Fifth Ave., Paterson, and 10 a.m. St. Theresa Church.
