Obituary notes for Emma Elizabeth McELHOSE
Herald (Arlington Heights, Illinois) 3 May 1907
Mrs. Frank Bleimehl
Emma Elizabeth McElhose was born March 9, 1874, in Humbolt, Wis., where she spent her childhood till six years of age. Her parents then moved to Arlington Heights, where she grew to young womanhood. She joined the Methodist church in 1888, under the ministry of Rev. Lee, and continued a member till her death. She was active in church work, in League and Sabbath School.
On Oct. 6, 1898 she married Frank Bleimehl, and proved to him her devotion, her loyalty and worth as a Christian wife and mother. Two children came to the home to add to them cheer and sunshine.
Mrs. Bleimehl died in Chicago, Thursday, April 25, 1907, after a short yet serious illness. She leaves a husband, two children, her parents, five brothers and two sisters to cherish her memory. Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church, Sunday afternoon, in the charge of Pastor A. H. Hirsch. The floral tributes were especially beautiful and abundant, the whole front of the church being occupied by them. The sympathies of a large circle of friends are with the bereaved.
