Deceased Name: RUTH N. WEINRICH

Ruth N. Weinrich, 86, a lifelong resident of Arlington Heights, died there Saturday in the Lutheran Home for the Aged. Mrs. Weinrich, who was born in Arlington Heights, retired in 1985 as co-owner, with her husband Carl H., of Weinrich Shoe Service, a shoe-repair shop in Arlington Heights, after 30 years of service. Mrs. Weinrich graduated from St. Peter Lutheran School, Arlington Heights, in 1927 and from Arlington Heights High School in 1931. Mrs. Weinrich sang alto for 40 years in the adult choir at St. Peter Lutheran Church, where her late father, Rev. Charles M. Noack, was pastor from 1899 to 1940. "She and I had a tremendous life together for 60 years," said her husband, who served as village clerk in Arlington Heights from 1953 to 1957. "She was a tremendous mother. She was very active in church work." Other survivors include two sons, Rev. Charles A. and David; a half-sister, Lydia Brueggeman; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday until services at 11 a.m. in St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Heights.
