Gertrude Hoeft, nee Seegers, beloved wife of Carl, fond mother of Mrs. Irene Henk, Elmer and LeRoy. Resting at chapel, 207 N. Vail avenue, Arlington Heights. Service Sunday, 2:30 p.m., at St. Peter's Ev. Luth. church, Arlington Heights. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery.

Gertrude Hoeft
Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Hoeft, nee Seegers, late of 442 S. Dunton st., Arlington Heights, were held Sunday from Karstens funeral home to St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran church. Rev. L.V. Stephan officiated and interment was in St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran cemetery.
Mrs. Hoeft was born July 10, 1902 in Des Plaines. She was confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran church, Mount Prospect. September 5, 1925 she was united in marriage to Carl Hoeft at the same church. Following their marriage they moved to Arlington Heights.
She was an active member of St. Peter Lutheran church, where she was also a member of the Ladies Aid. Mrs. Hoeft died May 11, at a Chicago hospital following a prolonged illness.
Survivors include her husband, Carl; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Henk of Des Plaines; two sons, Elmer and Leroy; her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Seegers; one grandchild, William Henk, Jr.; four brothers, John, Clarence, Oscar and Conrad Seegers; and six sisters, Alma Mecklenburg, Ida Gaitsch, Hulda Winkelmann, Ruth Pankonin, Helen Elliott and Mabel Burhke.
