-- August Hoeft, late of 105 S. Dunton, Arlington Heights; loving father of Henry, Carl, Mrs.Fred Behrens, and the late Paul; dear brother of Herman; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Resting at chapel, Northwest highway and Vail avenue, Arlington Heights. Service at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church, Arlington Heights. Will lie in state at church from 12 noon until time of service.

Obituaries: August Hoeft
A resident of this area for 30 years, August Hoeft died in his home at 105 S. Dunton, Arlington Heights. Services were held January 3 in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran church with Rev. Luther V. Stephan officiating.
Mr. Hoeft was born October 19, 1868 in Germany and was married to Augusta Weinrich in 1895 in St. Peter church. He leaves 2 sons, Henry and Carl; a daughter, Mrs. Elvira Behrens of Oelwein, Iowa; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a brother Herman Hoeft of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Paul.
Black’s Memorial home was in charge of arrangements and burial was in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran cemetery, Arlington Heights.
