Memorial services for Lydia D. Schroeder, (nee Geffert) 90, of Arlington Heights, will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27 at Lutheran Home and Service for the Aged- St. John the Beloved Chapel, Arlington Heights.
She was born Feb. 6, 1904, in Reed City, Mich.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. She died Saturday, Feb. 19 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Mrs. Schroeder was a homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran Church from 1946 to 1991.
She was the wife of the late William F. Schroeder; mother of Kenneth W. (Sandra J.) Schroeder of Arlington Heights and Judith I. (Donald E.) Kelly of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; grandmother of four; great-grandmother of one, and sister of Hilda (Elmer) Karstens of Lake Ridge, Va. and Martha (Harvey) Winkelman of Arlington Heights.
She was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, the Rev. Walter (Ann) Geffert, the Rev. Rudolph (Meta) Geffert, Julia (Frank) Colba, Esther (Fred) Reinke, Vera (William) Lackner, and Edna (Albert) Kehe.
Memorials may be made to donor’s favorite charity.
