Old Resident Dead
Daniel Vollnagle, one of the old residents of this vicinity, died at 8:30 last night at his home in the south part of town following an illness of ten days with lung fever. He leaves a wife, one son and two daughters. The funeral will be held at the residence at 2 oclock [sic] Sunday afternoon.

Funeral of Daniel Vollnagle
The funeral of the late Daniel Vollnagle, whose death was noted last week, was held at the residence on East Maple street at 2 oclock [sic] Sunday afternoon. Rev. J. W. Lake of Grace U. B. church preached the sermon. Interment was in the Bremen cemetery.
Mr. Vollnagle was born in Mahoning county, Ohio, April 14, 1833. Aug. 21, 1857, he was married in Pennsylvania to Annie Weaver, who survives him. Five years later they came to Indiana and moved on a farm a mile and a quarter southwest of Bremen, were they lived for eleven years, then moving to Bremen, where they have since resided, a period of thirty-seven years.
