Thomas Weston Dies After Long Illness
Thomas Robert Weston, 63, R.R. 3, Bremen, passed away at 3 a.m. Thursday, September 21, at the Bremen Community Hospital, after several months illness. He was a retired Bendix worker.
He was born in Bremen, Indiana, February 26, 1904, son of Lee Weston and Florence Fink.
He was married to Maude Thomas, March 24, 1933 in South Bend.
Survivors are Mrs. Weston, one son Richard J. Weston of South Bend, two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Carol) Schmeltz of Nappanee and Mrs. Joe (Nancy) Martin of Bremen, also thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Four brothers and two sisters, Mrs. E.A. Zimmer, South Bend, Mrs. Lucille Mington, Lake Worth, Florida; Floyd and John Weston of Bremen, Kenneth West, Lake Worth, Florida, and Clyde Weston of Toledo, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at the Huff Funeral Home, Saturday at 3:30 with Rev. Robert Hueni, pastor of the community Gospel Church officiating. Burial was in the Bremen cemetery.
