Mrs. Leo P. Berger
Mrs. Leo P. Berger, sixty years old, died at her home seven miles southeast of Bremen at two oclock [sic] Wednesday afternoon after an illness of two months. Mrs. Berger’s maiden name was Maude Weston. She was a daughter of Lee and Florence (Fink) Weston, and was born November 1, 1886 in Bremen. In August 1905, she was married to Leo P. Berger, who survives. She leaves also one daughter, Mrs. George Plummer of South Bend; one son, Kermit Berger of Nappance; five brothers, Floyd and Kenneth Weston of Mishawaka, Clyde Weston of Toledo, Ohio, Thomas and John Weston of Bremen; two sisters, Mrs. Lucile Paszle and Mrs. Carol Zimmer of South Bend. One daughter, Lois, preceded her mother in death.
Friends may call at the Huff Funeral Home until the time of the funeral, which will be held in Salem Evangelical United Brethren church Saturday afternoon at two oclock [sic]. Rev. E.D. Kunce, pastor of the Ebenezer County Line church will officiate in the service and burial will be in the Bremen cemetery. Mrs. Berger was a member of Ebenezer church.
