Harold O. Holderman
Harold O. Holderman, forty-seven years old, prominent Bremen man who was widely known as sales manager of a large territory in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky for the Tennant & Hoyt Flour company, died Sunday night in Memorial hospital, South Bend, where he had been for the past three weeks. He had been in ill health for some time, but his condition became critical and he was taken to the hospital three weeks ago.
Born in Iron Mountain, Mich., March 12, 1899, Mr. Holderman came to Indiana and on August 7, 1920, was married to Hermina Felten of Bremen. She survives with their two daughters, Mrs. James Mace of Sheridan, Ind., and Miss Jeanette Holderman, who is attending school in Boston. Surviving also are Mr. Holderman’s father, William Holderman of Tavares, Florida and a brother, Clarence Holderman of Albion, Ind.
In addition to his flour business, Mr. Holderman was a partner of Charles Stewart in the ownership of the Stewart Bakery at Auburn, Ind. He was a member of Bremen Lodge No. 414, F. & A.M. of the Scottish Rite Consistory in South Bend, and of Mispah Temple of the Shrine in Fort Wayne.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Huff Funeral Home, Rev. E.A. Eggers of St. Paul’s Lutheran church officiating. Burial was in the Bremen cemetery.
