JEAN ADAMS, 69
HAINES CITY -- Ms. Jean Eileen Adams of Haines City died of heart failure Saturday (Sept. 23, 2006) in Haines City. She was 69.
Born in Stroudsburg, Pa., on May 17, 1937, she came to Haines City from Monroe County 10 years ago. She was a maintenance worker for General Electric. She was a member of the Stroudsburg United Methodist Church.
Ms. Adams is survived by her sons, Perry Singer, East Stroudsburg, Pa., Michael Singer, Miami; daughter, Amanda Singer, East Stroudsburg; brothers, Jeffrey Adams, Scranton, Pa., William Adams, East Stroudsburg; sister, Shirley Crosby, Clifton Springs, N.Y.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at William H. Clark Funeral Home, Stroudsburg. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel in Stroudsburg. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery in Stroudsburg.

Jean Eileen Adams, 69, of Haines City, FL and formerly of Stroudsburg, passed away on Saturday, September 23, in her home in Florida.
Born on May 17, 1937 in Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Gladys E. (Land) Adams and had lived in Monroe County all of her life before moving to Haines City, FL ten years ago. A graduate of Stroudsburg High School, she had been a waitress at various restaurants including Bradley's in Bartonsville and the Elks in East Stroudsburg. She last worked for General Electric in Stroud Township and had last worked for Ronson in Delaware Water Gap. In Florida, she had worked as a caregiver.
Jean was a member of the Stroudsburg United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Perry Singer of East Stroudsburg and Michael Singer of Miami, FL; a daughter, Amanda Singer of East Stroudsburg; grandchildren, Rachel Packard, Andrea Packard and Raymond Packard; great grandchildren, Alexander Torres and Tyler Valley; two brothers, Jeffrey Adams of Scranton and William Adams of East Stroudsburg; a sister, Shirley Crosby of Clifton Springs, NY; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elvene Kresge, and her twin sister, Joan Tuthill.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29, at 2:00PM in the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with the Rev. Thomas E. Anderman officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
There will be a visitation on Friday from 1:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
