Mrs. Theodore W. Bauer
Mrs. Theodore W. Bauer, well known life-long resident of this community, died early Tuesday morning in St. Joseph hospital at Mishawaka, where she had been taken Monday night after suffering a heart attack. She had been ill about a month.
Mrs. Bauer was born in Bremen and spent her entire life here. Her maiden name was Arzeltha Mae Hans. She was the daughter of William S. and Marietta Hans and was born August 21, 1881. She was united in marriage with Theodore W. Bauer November 4, 1897. Surviving are her husband and two children, Mrs. Fred Hadley of Whiting, Ind., and Walter Bauer of Bremen; also a sister, Mrs. Cleo Juday, and a brother, Oliver F. Hans, both of Bremen, and one grandson, Walter Hadley, of Whiting. A son Harold, died in infancy.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1:30 in St. Paul’s Lutheran church, of which she was a member. Rev. E.G. Dobelstein, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Bremen cemetery.
