Miss Josephine Shepherd Rites Saturday in Holy Name
Mass for Josephine M. Shepherd, 71, who made substantial contributions to charities and devoted much time to them, will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Name Cathedral, State and Superior Streets

Miss Shepherd died Tuesday in the home of her sister, Mrs. John F. Cuneo, at Hawthorne Mellody Farm, Libertyville.
Her major charitable activity was with the Women’s Auxiliary of Frank Cuneo Memorial Hospital, 750 W. Montrose Av., which was established by Mother Cabrini and Sisters of the Sacred Heart primarily with funds provided by the late Frank C. Cuneo, father of John F. Cuneo, president of Cuneo Press.
