Schirak is the name given on Bartolomeje’s marriage for his mother. The priest in Zdešov continued to use Schirhal as Bartolomeje’s mother’s name. She was the widow of Joannes Schilhar. The house they lived in was known as the Schilhar house. The surname sometimes went with the residents of the house. In two of the baptisms of Mateig and Marianna Sametz’ children they are surnamed Schilhar, with a later notation of Sametz made.
