Obituary notes for Adolphus C. HOWARD
Mahoning Dispatch, Fri, 12 July 1918
Adolphus C. Howard died last week at his home near Patmos of pneumonia, aged about 70 years. The deceased was a farmer and resided on the farm where he died 30 years. He was born in Ellsworth, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Howard. He was a member of Bunker Hill church and a man held in high esteem by all who knew him. Surviving are his wife and one son, Stanley, at home, and three sisters, Mrs. W. E. Rose of Canfield, Mrs. J. S. Knight of Canton and Mrs. C. M. Shively, of Berlin Center. Funeral services held from the family home Friday afternoon were in charge of Rev. S. C. Lloyd of Damascus and interment was made in the Ellsworth cemetery.
