Deaths
John A. Stemaly
John A. Stemaly, 66, of 5616 Pollack Abe., died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s hospital.
Stemaly retired from the Standard Oil Company in 1962 where he worked for 37 years.
He was a member of Nativity Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; a daughter, Mrs. Nora Sims, and a son, Larry, both of Evansville; a sister, Mrs. Marie Schwenk of Dale, Ind.; three brothers, Martin of Evansville, Lloyd of Jasper, Ind., and Leonard of Athens, Mich., and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Alesancer Funeral Home East Chapel, continued at 9 at Nativity Church. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Nativity parishioners will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
