Tony Elia Succumbs

Tony Elia, 64, of 1625 13th St., died today (Dec. 24, 1966) in Mount View Hospital, Lockport, after a short illness.

A native of this city, Mr. Elia was employed as a bricklayer with local construction companies for 45 years. He was a past president of Bricklayers Local No. 2, and a member of the LaSalle Sportsmen’s Club and the John J. Welch Post No. 381, American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Olive Johnson Elis; two sons, Frank and Dominic Elia both of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Clara) Berlin and Mrs. James (Barbara) Smith, both of Simi Valley, Calif.; a brother, Joseph Elia, M.D., of Reno, Nev.; four sisters, Mrs. Albert (Mary) LaDuca of Lewiston; Mrs. Jenny Critelli of this city; Mrs. Eugene (Josephine) Chisera of Lockport; and Mrs. Augustine (Julia) Cenname of Rochester; and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday.
